Mobile Campus Privacy Policy
Overview
Mobile Campus is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors and our members.
Mobile Campus has established this Privacy Policy to explain what information we
collect through our services and how that information is used.
In this policy, "Mobile Campus" refers to Mobile Campus staff, board members,
interns, volunteers, consultants and cooperating attorneys, all of whom are bound
by law or contract to keep information they receive as part of their assistance
to Mobile Campus confidential.
Mobile Campus does not share information without prior consent except as compelled
by law (as described in the “Information Sharing” section below).
Information Gathered by Mobile Campus' Site and Services
When you sign up for a Mobile Campus account, other Mobile Campus services, or promotions
that require registration, we ask you for personal information, such as your name,
mobile number, email address, account password, and other personal information that
you decide to provide. We may combine the information you submit under your account
with information from other Mobile Campus services or third parties in order to
provide you with a better experience and to improve the quality of our services.
For certain services, we may give you the opportunity to opt-out of combining such
information.
When you use Mobile Campus services, we may place a text file called a "cookie"
in the web browser files of your computer. The cookie itself does not contain personal
information. The cookie enables us to maintain a better web site user experience.
Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, but you can reset your browser
to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. Some Mobile Campus
features and services may not function properly if your cookies are disabled.
When you use Mobile Campus services, our servers automatically record information
that your browser sends whenever you visit a website or send a message. These server
logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol address,
mobile phone number, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request
and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.
When you send email or other communication to Mobile Campus, we may retain those
communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and
improve our services.
We offer some of our services in connection with other web sites. Personal information
that you provide to those sites may be sent to Mobile Campus in order to deliver
the service. We process such information in accordance with this Policy. The affiliated
sites may have different privacy practices and we encourage you to read their privacy
policies.
Mobile Campus' Use of Information
In general, Mobile Campus uses the information provided by you to deliver content
you have requested or to provide relevant offers from third parties. We use your
information to process and manage your membership.
If you invite another person to join Mobile Campus, we will ask for that person's
name and contact information. We use this information to contact and, if necessary,
remind that person that he or she has been invited to join Mobile Campus.
We may run surveys, contests, or similar activities through our site or services.
Such information will be used for the purposes for which it was collected.
We may use information collected to review the technical performance of our sites
and services.
Third-Party Service Providers
From time to time, Mobile Campus may work with third-party consultants or other
service providers who may have access to personally-identifiable information. In
such cases, we will restrict their use of this information in accordance with their
assigned tasks and subject to the limitations of this privacy policy.
Mobile Campus' sites and services provide links or contact information to a
wide variety of third-parties. Mobile Campus is not responsible for, and does not
have any control over, the privacy practices or the content of such third parties.
We encourage visitors and members to read the privacy policies of any website visited.
Information Sharing
Mobile Campus does not share any of your personal information that would result
in its inappropriate use. Mobile Campus does not share any of your personal information
without your knowledge and consent. Mobile Campus only shares personal information
with other companies or individuals outside of Mobile Campus in the following, limited
circumstances:
- We have your consent. We require opt-in consent for the sharing of any sensitive
personal information.
- We provide such information to our subsidiaries, affiliated companies or other trusted
businesses or persons for the purpose of processing personal information on our
behalf. We require that these parties agree to process such information based on
our instructions and in compliance with this Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality
and security measures.
- We have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of such
information is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation,
legal process or enforceable governmental request, (b) enforce applicable Terms
of Service, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (c) detect,
prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, or (d) protect
against imminent harm to the rights, property or safety of Mobile Campus, its members
or the public as required or permitted by law.
- If Mobile Campus becomes involved in a merger, acquisition or any form of sale of
some or all of its assets, we will provide notice before personal information is
transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We may share with third parties certain pieces of aggregated, non-personal information,
such as the number of members who received a particular message, for example, or
how many members responded to a particular offer. Such information does not identify
you individually.

Updating Your Information
You may choose to correct, update, or delete the membership information you have
submitted to Mobile Campus through our web interface or other interfaces provided.
In the event that you are not able to modify or remove information using existing
Mobile Campus facilities, please contact us at the e-mail address
MCPrivacyPolicy@mobilecampus.com. We will make every reasonable effort to
update or remove data as requested and free of charge. We may not be able to fulfill
requests that require a disproportionate amount of technical effort.
Changes to Our Policies
Mobile Campus' Privacy Policy may change from time to time. However, any revised
privacy policy will be consistent with Mobile Campus' mission and basic set
of services. If we make any substantive changes to our policies, we will post notice
of changes on this page.
Security
Mobile Campus employs industry standard security measures to protect the loss, misuse
and alteration of the information under our control. Member information submitted
through the registration processes is encrypted through a Secured Socket Layer (SSL)
connection, which protects the information in transit.
Although we make good faith efforts to store information collected by Mobile Campus
in a secure operating environment, we cannot guarantee complete security. Information
collected by Mobile Campus will be maintained for a length of time appropriate to
our needs.
Because email and instant messaging are not recognized as secure communications,
we request that you not send private information to us by email or instant messaging

Enforcement
Mobile Campus regularly reviews its compliance with this Policy. Please feel free
to direct any questions or concerns regarding this Policy or Mobile Campus'
treatment of personal information by contacting us through this web site or by writing
to us at Privacy Matters, c/o Mobile Campus, Inc., 1200 Abernathy Rd, Suite 1700,
Atlanta, GA 30328, USA. When we receive formal written complaints at this address,
it is Mobile Campus’ policy to contact the user regarding his or her concerns.
We will cooperate with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data
protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of personal
data that cannot be resolved between Mobile Campus and an individual.
